Seborrheic keratosis is a slightly raised, waxy or crusty spot that looks a bit like a brown coloured candle wax stuck to your skin. Some people know these as seborrheic warts or age spots, because it's normal to get more of them as you get older.

The good news is that that are harmless and not contagious, but can be annoying when they catch on clothes.

Removing seborrheic keratosis in the clinic usually just takes a few minutes by shave excision or curretage and then sealed off afterwards. It heals a bit like a small graze and leaves smooth skin afterwards.
