If you’re thinking about having a mole, cyst, skin tag or wart removed, it helps to know what to expect.

At Dr Jenna Wa Skin Surgery, your appointment starts with a careful check of the area, including examination with a dermatoscope. We’ll talk through the findings and agree on the best option for treatment.

In most cases, the lesion can be removed at the same visit under local anaesthetic. The injection stings briefly, after which the area is numb. The procedure itself is usually quick, around 20-30 minutes.

Before you go home, you’ll be given clear aftercare advice, and I'm happy to help if you have any questions afterwards.

Whether removal is for reassurance or cosmetic reasons, we aim to keep the process simple and straightforward.
